"There's the 'Big Three' in
the auto world and then there's the Big Three in the brewing world -- that
would be, from left, Earl Scherbarth,
Larry Channell and
Bill Wrobel. The trio, who just happen to be car guys (Wrobel works at
Chrysler, Channell retired from Chrysler and Scherbarth retired from Ford),
opened the Dragonmead Microbrewery in Warren [in 1997]. Since then,
their little ale house has fermented into quite a place.”
